About Psicotepec
Psicotepec was born from a simple conviction: psychoanalysis should not be a privilege.
For too long, this kind of care has remained out of reach for most people.
We exist to help change that — bringing serious, contemporary psychoanalytic practice to private, community, workplace, and institutional settings; the places where people actually live their lives, where they speak, suffer, desire, and relate to others.

What sets us apart
At Psicotepec, we offer a contemporary psychoanalytic approach that takes the whole person seriously: not only their symptoms, but also their history, relationships, desires, and contradictions.
We are interested in the deep exploration of subjectivity — of how each person is shaped in relation to others, to their history, and to the desires that inhabit them, sometimes without their knowing.
That is why every intervention is tailored: attending to the unique needs of each individual, group, or community, and recognizing how identities, histories, and cultural contexts shape each person's experience.
We draw on insights from multiple disciplines, uphold high ethical standards, and continuously evaluate our own practices to keep improving.
We understand therapeutic work as a living, honest, and constantly evolving process.
Our commitment
We believe psychoanalysis works best when it isn't a luxury — when anyone, regardless of their economic situation or background, can access a therapeutic process that is serious, human, and transformative.
That is why we designed Psicotepec as a project, not simply as a clinic: with accessible fees, in-person and online care, a presence across different settings, and a commitment to expanding access to integral care for both individuals and communities.
