Andrés possesses a solid academic background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad Intercontinental (UIC) and a Master's degree in Psychoanalysis from Dimensión Psicoanalítica, A.C. (DP), complemented with specializations in Psychoanalysis with Children and Adolescents at DP and Psychodynamic Couple Psychotherapy at the Mexican Psychoanalytic Association (Asociación Psicoanalítica Mexicana, APM).

His interdisciplinary preparation extends to the fields of Philosophy (UIC), Theology (Hekima College, Catholic University of Eastern Africa, CUEA), and Philosophy of Culture (Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, UMSNH), enriching his clinical perspective.

 

Additionally, he has consolidated his professional profile with certifications in Brief Psychodynamic Systemic Therapy (UIC) and Professional Consulting (Universidad Iberoamericana, UIA - International Coaching & Consulting Network, INCC).

Currently, Andrés is in the process of establishing Psicotepec, a low-cost psychoanalytic clinic, thus demonstrating his commitment to the democratization of mental health through the accessible and sustainable provision of psychotherapy.
 

His practice is based on the conviction that psychoanalysis should transcend socioeconomic barriers and comprehensively address the complexity of the human being.

 

For Andrés, psychoanalytic work surpasses mere technical application, constituting itself as a transformative encounter that honors the uniqueness of each individual and facilitates new forms of self-understanding, under the fundamental premise of "Psychoanalysis for all people and for the whole person."
