Easter 5A
Reflection
Jesus is here for us, even now, acting as our way, our truth, and our life. The Gospel teaches that to experience eternal life, all we need to do is believe in Jesus, the one sent by God (Jn 5:24; 17:3). This belief becomes our reality and guides us in big and small decisions alike.
At the heart of this connection with Jesus is trust—the ability to entrust everything we have and are to the living God and his Son, who was raised from the dead. It's no coincidence that the verb "to believe" appears 98 times in the Fourth Gospel, highlighting the importance of faith in our lives.
I hope this message brings you comfort and encouragement, knowing that Jesus is always there to guide and support us.

Meditation (John 14: 1-12)
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me." Trusting others can really help us during tough times. Let's take a moment to remember and give thanks for the people we could rely on in challenging situations, and also think about how our faith in God helped us find peace during anxious moments.
Just like Thomas, we all sometimes struggle with the desire to know exactly where we're headed before we start our journey. Jesus encourages us to have faith and take life one step at a time. Can you think of times when having a trusting attitude towards life really helped you?
Jesus told Thomas that he is the way, the truth, and the life. Reflect on your own faith journey—how has Jesus been a guide, a source of truth, and an inspiration for you?
Philip asked Jesus for a glimpse of God and received a surprising response: "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father." Jesus showed us God's love through his own actions. Who are the people in your life whose love has made it easier for you to believe in God's love? And have you ever given someone a glimpse of the divine through your own love and kindness?
